Fall is in the air

Not sure what the weather is like in your neck of the woods but here in Northern Colorado the trees they are a changing. Combined with some strong afternoon thunderstorms and cool evenings it seems that fall is coming a bit early. Could we be in for an early winter? Since we know tandems and not meteorology I guess we will focus on the bikes.
Getting your tandem ready for winter a quick checklist:
- Check tires
- Lube chain
- Check crank bolts and chain-ring bolts
- Re-lube your hubs
- Check play in headset
- Check brake pads
- Lube shift cables
- Dust off the cool weather riding gear
- Install fenders if you have them
- Lube pedals
- Mount tail light
- Add a small flashlight to your repair kit
- Get out and ride before it gets really freaking cold!
